Scrap metal container service for Birmingham businesses
Generating steady scrap at your plant, shop or jobsite? We'll set up container service so your metal gets recycled instead of piling up.
Scrap that keeps moving
Rather Recycling is a full-service metal recycler for commercial, industrial and manufacturing accounts. If your operation produces scrap every week, a container on site is easier than hauling loads yourself.
- Manufacturers and fabricators
- Machine shops and maintenance departments
- HVAC, electrical and plumbing contractors
- Demolition and renovation jobsites
Three steps to container service
Tell us what you generate
Call and walk us through your material, your volume, and how much room you have on site.
We set up a plan
We'll recommend a container setup and pickup schedule that fits your operation.
Fill it and call
When it's full, call for a swap. We haul it, weigh it and handle the recycling.
Keep copper, brass and aluminum out of the steel container when you can. A separate bin or drum for non-ferrous keeps it from being priced as steel.
Scrap prices move daily.
Call before you load up and we'll give you today's number for your material. Tell us what it is and roughly how much you have.
